Since the establishment of the Association, comprehensive interdisciplinary academic & annual conventions have been held every four years coinciding with the replacement of governing board. The last two conventions had published their own respective paper collections. The committee of each discipline performs academic intercourses and exchanges according to its scheduled academic exchange program drafted at the beginning of each year and correspondingly releases papers collections and publications to improve the quality of academic exchanges. Furthermore, Our association has been enthusiastic to cosponsor annual academies with the fellow associations. For example, the Fifth Discipline Committee, Provincial Civil Engineering Association and HVAC Discipline Committee have been jointly convening meetings once every two years. Two rounds of Nationwide Heat Pump Annual Academic Exchanges have been presented under the sponsors of the Second Discipline Committee, the Second Discipline Committee of Chinese Association of Refrigeration and other provincial & municipal association. Additionally, for the commendation of Chinese Association of Refrigeration ,our association co-held Hongkong-Jiiangsu Refrigeration & Air-conditioning Academic Exchange with Provincial Civil Engineering Association and Hongkong Association of HVAC engineers. At the same time academic exchange is arranged within the province, the members have been encouraged to issue compositions and take part in national and international academic exchange meetings. Its member Professor Zhang Xiaosong attended the Twelfth World Refrigeration Convention held by International Association of Refrigeration and presented his academic papers. Papers composed by the members have been selected into the national interdisciplinary academic exchange & annual convention and provincial interdisciplinary academic exchange meeting hosted by China Association for Science & Technology and Provincial Association of Science & Technology respectively for exchange purposes. In the field of the scientific & technology consulting services, experts have been organized in a causal manner for the neighbor member units. Besides, the Association has also undertaken and accomplished the feasibility study for express refrigeration of foods with liquid nitrogen, which is summoned under Provincial Association for Sciences & Technology. It has also assumed consultation and demonstration of refrigeration technique for court of justice, thus enabling the just settlement of some economical disputes. Commissioned by enterprises, the Association is liable to organize experts for the technical appraisal of their new products and equipment. Apart from these, it also arranges academic members to participate in the all-Provincial Science Popularization Weekly Activities under the uniform organization and sponsorship of Provincial Association for Science & Technology.
